Our little girl was born on October 12th at 4:45 PM. She was 21" tall and weighed 7 lbs 13 oz. The two Barb's (Jen's mom and sister) had been with us through most of the 24 hours of labor, and so went home within about an hour or so after our little girl was born to get some needed rest.
Adam showed up outside of the delivery room with a rose for Jen not long before we went to the post partum room. He happened to have had the closest guesses to her birth day, time, weight and height of all the family and so combining that with the fact that he was the first one there he was the first of Josh's family to hold her.
Within a few minutes of arriving to the post partum room all of Josh's family that was currently living in the valley arrived in the room and took turns holding Evie.
